The Miriam

$120.00

In 1983, Catherine Deneuve starred as Miriam in The Hunger, directed by Tony Scott. Miriam is a vampire, the kind who would grin serenely as she extended a foot forward to trip Bela Lugosi on the way to his coffin. Clad in Yves Saint Laurent, she feasts on Bauhaus-punk club kids, riffs Baroque serenades on her baby grand, ravishes Susan Sarandon—leaving her with an insatiable craving for rare meat—and is the first person in the history of time to upstage David Bowie, a blood-thirsty lover neglected into mortality. Though she has eternity, we have to wonder: where does she find the time?
