The Woman in the Blonde Wig

$120.00

In 1994, Brigitte Lin starred as the Woman in the Blonde Wig in Chungking Express, directed by Wong Kar Wai. We meet her in the midst of orchestrating a drug-trafficking scheme, armoured with a Blanche DuBois wig, a classic trench, and red cat-eye sunglasses that shield her from the grating fluorescent lights of Kowloon, and the audience from a glare so piercing it could break the Richter scale. In a plot where there is little will and no way, we would merrily follow her down the most sinister street in Hong Kong just to watch her light a pink cigarette.
